Homestay Application

Tumbleweed is happy to help people who want to come to the festival, but who would prefer not to be in a hotel.  We offer Homestays (to the extent that we have enough Homestay Hosts, see below) to attendees and performers alike.

If you would like to have a homestay, please fill out our Homestay Request Form (click the button below), and return by July 9th.

Also, you may click the “Homestay Hosting” button to offer lodging (spare room, camping or RV parking, or crash space) to one of our performers during the festival!

For our Performers:  if you will be staying in a hotel during Tumbleweed, please fill out the appropriate section of the Homestay Request form to help us to figure out how many room-nights that the Festival brought to Richland; the City of Richland sponsorship grant each year is based partly on this information.  Thanks!

Homestay Request Form

Dear Performers,

The Three Rivers Folklife Society is usually able to offer performers a home-stay while in the Tri-Cities. Please return this form postmarked by July 15, no matter what your arrangements are going to be but especially if you need a homestay. We need information about where our performers will be staying because we have a grant funded by the City of Richland Hotel and Motel tax funds.

If you would like a homestay in the home or backyard of festival volunteers, please indicate shared sleeping accommodations and note any allergies, food preferences or other special needs.
