Sam Rasmussen

Location

  • Concert:Songwriting Contest
  • Stages:River Stage
  • Workshop:None

Sam Rasmussen is a finalist in the Jane Titland Memorial Songwriting Contest this year.  He learned about Tumbleweed and the contest because he teaches 3rd and 4th grade in Spokane, and Ivy Eyer, of “The Eyer Family Band,” was one of his students.  This is his first time writing a song and performing in public.

Sam says “I am excited to join Tumbleweed as a songwriter in the songwriting competition and as a guest on the All-Ages Family Stage. I am not a performer but love music and have been tinkering on guitar and banjo for several years. At home I have three boys and a wonderful wife. I am one of the luckiest people in the world. I hope you enjoy my music.”

Sam will also be doing a set of kid’s music on the River Stage.

Robin Embry

Location

Robin Embry is an experienced singer/songwriter from Southern Indiana (USA).  His skillful storyteller style of song writing effectively expresses love, heartache, happiness, sorrow, contentment, and misfortune experienced by all.  It’s easy to place yourself in the middle of most any song he has written.  He’s had multiple songs independently released and he continues to perform, write, inspire, and encourage.
This is Robin’s first appearance at Tumbleweed – he found our website and thought it looked like a great festival that he wanted to be a part of!
Many of his songs and performances can be found at www.facebook.com/robin.embry.10/videos.
So, on behalf of all of us at TMFVirtual2020, please enjoy this performance from Robin Embry.
