Bella Rosa is an Olympia-based trio comprising three public school teachers – two retired, and one on the verge of retirement. Margi Carlson, Lisa Kuhlman and Betsy Wellings have sung together since early 2017, but go way back in their history of friendship and occasional gigs together.
Their repertoire includes many standards from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, originally tailored to appeal to an older crowd for our performances at local nursing facilities. We are known for our warm vocal sound, rich with three-part harmonies, lighthearted lyrics and emotional depth.
