Cecilia Eng

Cecilia Eng discovered science fiction/fantasy folk music (or filk music) in 1984 and organized “Friends of Filk,” which helped musicians sell music at sf/fantasy conventions, and used any surplus to bring musicians to our area from outside the Pacific Northwest.
Her work to promote the filk music genre resulted in her induction into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2013.  She has been music guest of honor at conventions across the USA, Canada and the UK.
